 Assalamualaikum

PRE-UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME 2008/09

Yayasan Sime Darby is pleased to announce the Pre-University Scholarship Programme FY 2008/09, to pursue full-time Preparatory Program for Overseas Universities (PPOU) at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (Putrajaya Campus) commencing January 2009.

Scholarships will be offered to individuals who intend to pursue either one of the following fields of study:
• Engineering:Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Computer
• Business:    Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information and Communication Technology
• Science:     Agricultural sciences, Agronomy, Food Technology, Biotechnology


Selection Criteria
The minimum selection criteria for Pre-University scholarship is as follows:

    * Candidate must possess at least 7A1 for their trial 2008 SPM results
    * Past academic achievements of candidates will be considered
    * Ability to demonstrate outstanding leadership qualities and potential
    * Actively involved in extra-curricular activities and sporting events


Successful candidates will be receiving full tuition/academic fees, maintenance allowance, accommodation and book allowance throughout the course duration.
